The host was super friendly and welcoming. He made us feel at home within seconds and our boys enjoyed the lovely garden with its toyes. The building itself can tell some interesting stories and is beautifully decorated and very clean. We loved our stay - the very early coffee was the cherry on top. We'll definitely visit again! The property was lovely and the surrounding area was peaceful and restful. The old house had once belonged to an early Danish king! There were horse boarding facilities there so we were able to walk around in the barn and visit with a couple of the horses, which was an added bonus. We were not far from Skagen, a quaint town, and the northernmost tip of Jutland where the Baltic and North Seas meet. Our host, Egon, was helpful and informative. We hope to return to Lerbæk Hovedgaard some day!
