Situated in Bwejuu, a few steps from Bwejuu Beach, Mayai Ocean Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. What a wonderful hotel, with an amazing staff and owner who bent over backwards to make sure it was a honeymoon of a lifetime. Tried another resort but it just didn’t compare and returned to Mayai! Great food, great people, great location.

Located in Uroa, 100 metres from Uroa Public Beach, F-Zeen Boutique Hotel Zanzibar provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The beach is very good and a long beach, water is clean, very good for relaxing. The staff was so so friendly and welcoming, we immediately felt at home, we had our rooms upgraded as they knew we are on our honeymoon, Dainess the manager, was so welcoming and hospitable. Definitely would come again. 😊😍

Located in Jambiani, less than 1 km from Jambiani Beach, Zen Boutique Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. A one of a kind place. We felt welcome and could relax and de-stress! We truly recommend this accommodation! Location: Although not at the beach, it’s literally a short stroll across the road. It also makes it a quite place, ideally to relax. Service: Staff was exceptionally welcoming and helped with all your questions. We were also happily surprised by the effort they do to reduce platsic waste. You can for example refill your waterbottle for free. Depending on the time and energy you want to put into negotiation during your holidays we do recommend to arrange an airportshuttle through uber or negotiate with a taxidriver at the airport itself. Booking a car for the whole week and picking it up in the airport is an even better idea. Also the laundry and daytours can be found cheaper (negotiate the trips by going with your own car) Room: The room is spacious, with a lovely outside bathroom, with good shower pressure and always hot water, airconditioning, silent refrigerator and water cooker with coffee and tea. Everyday your room is cleaned and you get clean towels for the bedroom + additional one’s for the swimmingpool. A plus was the fresh water refilled in a glass bottle everyday in the room included in the package. Breakfast: The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, granola, yoghurt, eggs, pancakes, smoothie, fresh baked sweets… the best!

Facing the beachfront, The Mora Zanzibar offers 5-star accommodation in Matemwe and features a shared lounge, terrace and bar. Truly excellent hotel. Great people - welcoming, kind and really attentive, essentially all of staff in all different roles. Superb white sand beach and emerald ocean with nice view to Mnemba Island. Food & food choice is great with main buffet restaurant and a couple of a la carte restaurants, expansive all-inclusive package (even includes complementary sun screens at the pools, good choice of drinks, etc.). Very neatly looked after territory with nice lush gardens, rooms cleaned twice a day. Ticks all of the boxes for high standard luxury & relaxing stay, what else would you want? Hope all will stay the same after TUI takes over next year:)

Facing the beachfront, Mambo Paradise offers 4-star accommodation in Matemwe and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. The rooms were clean and had a beautiful sea view & view of the sunrise over the ocean. The staff was amazing, Kassia and Pawel were incredible hosts and everyone did their best to help us with any requests we had, we felt very welcome. Interesting place to stay to get an insight into local Zanzibar life.

Located in Pongwe, a few steps from Pongwe Beach, Karibu Beach Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. For the first time, everything was perfect! My expectations were high due to the positive reviews but they were still exceeded. The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly, the atmosphere and design of the hotel are wonderful, the food and drinks (esp. the juices!) were fantastic. I hope to come back in the future!
